Bonham Electric

The company at a glance

Company overview

Bonham Electric provides electrical work in Dayton and Huber Heights, with an official residential menu covering panel replacement, home rewiring, lighting and larger home projects. Its website also lists generators, electric-vehicle chargers, new construction and commercial services. Both the company and its BBB record place the business’s beginnings in 1959.

The official website and independent record use the same telephone number and domain, supporting the business identity. Their street numbers differ, so this profile identifies the Dayton base without publishing a street address. Confirm the current office location before visiting; service at a home should be checked separately.

Connect the upgrade to the intended use

A panel replacement, charger or generator proposal should begin with the household’s actual needs. Explain which equipment you plan to add and ask what assessment is required. Request an explanation of any related work included in the proposal, rather than assuming that a new device can be priced independently of the existing installation.

For a backup generator, ask which loads the design is intended to support, who coordinates related trades and what testing is included at handover. For rewiring or lighting, discuss access, disruption and responsibility for repairing finishes. These questions help define the job without asking a homeowner to diagnose or perform electrical work.

Compare responsibilities as well as equipment

• What assessment supports the proposed equipment and scope?
• Who obtains applicable permits and coordinates inspections or utility work?
• Which testing, documentation and follow-up are included?

Obtain a written scope naming the equipment and exclusions. Ask which stages require a power interruption and how the schedule will be communicated. Confirm applicable credentials and current insurance with the relevant sources before hiring. An advertised service menu does not establish capacity for a particular date or address.
