Home Review Board

Advertising, sponsorship, and editorial judgment.

Understand how Home Review Board identifies paid profiles, sponsored content, and commercial placements.

Home Review Board is a private publication and may offer commercial products. Readers should be able to understand when a paid relationship is relevant to what they are viewing.

Products we may offer

Commercial offerings may include enhanced company profiles, sponsored editorial features, featured placements, category or market sponsorships, and approved marketing assets. Availability and pricing are discussed separately and may change during validation.

How paid relationships are labeled

A paid company profile should carry a visible “Sponsored company profile” label. A sponsored article or advertisement should identify the paid relationship near the content. A featured position that was purchased should not be presented as an independent ranking.

The presence of a normal company profile does not, by itself, indicate a paid relationship. Where payment is relevant, the label on the content should make that clear.

Payment and recognition

Paying Home Review Board does not automatically make a company a Top Contractor or establish that it is objectively the best. Recognition requires a stated editorial basis. Any permission to use a recognition asset is separate from the underlying decision to assign the distinction.

No promised outcome

A profile or paid placement does not guarantee search rankings, website traffic, inquiries, sales, or a homeowner’s project outcome. Commercial scope and terms should be agreed before a paid service begins.
