Portland, Oregon
The company at a glance
Company overview
Neil Kelly's Portland design center is on North Alberta Street. The company operates other regional locations, but this feature concerns its Portland team and contact information. Published services include kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-house remodeling, conversions, exterior work, and accessory dwelling units. Its design-build page describes local teams and design centers, while the independent business record identifies the Portland location. Homeowners can use that range to discuss whether their project is a room renovation, a change in how the house is used, or a separate dwelling project.
Set the intended use before the design begins
An added room and an accessory dwelling unit can have very different project requirements. Explain who will use the space, how independently it should function, and what access it needs. Ask which feasibility questions must be answered before a design agreement progresses. Request clarity about site investigations, local approvals, and the deliverables needed to establish a construction budget.
Questions for the first conversation
- What feasibility work is needed for the intended use?
- Which site and approval questions are resolved during design?
- When will the scope support a construction budget?
