My Professional Plumber

The company at a glance

Company overview

My Professional Plumber lists Knoxville plumbing services that include water-leak detection, drain cleaning, sewer-line repair and water heaters. Its Knoxville and contact pages identify 118 North Peters Road and publish several service numbers, including the main displayed 865-221-7157. The site also lists Oak Ridge and Maryville locations.

BBB identifies My Plumber, Inc. at the same Knoxville address and links the myplumbertn.com domain. That record's telephone differs from the main current website number, while its listed Oak Ridge and Maryville contacts also appear on the official site. These matches connect the public brand to the business record without treating the separate locations as distinct companies.

Define what a leak investigation will establish

For a suspected leak, provide a factual description of the symptom and any earlier repairs or inspection results. Ask what the diagnostic visit includes, how findings will be explained and whether access work is separately authorized. The company's leak-detection page describes inspection and explanation of findings, but a promise about locating hidden problems does not settle the method or cost for a particular house.

Before approving repair, request the identified location, proposed scope and alternatives. Clarify who opens and restores finished surfaces, how testing will confirm the repair and what happens if the initial investigation does not isolate the problem. Keep diagnosis and repair charges distinguishable on the estimate. Finally, establish who will handle follow-up if the original symptom persists, and retain the report and invoice as a record of what was actually checked and completed.

Questions to ask

• What diagnostic work and charges are authorized before repairs begin?
• How will the findings, access work and repair options be documented?
• Who restores surfaces and handles follow-up if the symptom persists?
