Highland Contractors
Rochester, NY
The company at a glance
Company overview
Highland Contractors provides roof installation and repair through its Rochester operation at 620 South Clinton Avenue. The location page identifies Rochester and Monroe County coverage and lists related exterior services, including skylights, gutters, siding, windows and doors. The official Rochester phone is 585-507-3658.
The matching BBB record identifies Highland Contractors at the same address, with the same phone and domain. It also lists Highland Contractors of Western NY Inc. as an alternate business name. The website has a Buffalo-area location as well; this collection profiles the Rochester operation once and does not turn each branch into a separate business selection.
Coordinate the roof with its adjoining components
A roof estimate becomes more useful when it explains what happens at skylights, edges, gutters and other adjoining components. Ask the estimator to identify existing items that will remain and those included in replacement. If a skylight or gutter change is suggested, request the reason and a separate description of the added work.
Compare proposals using the same assumptions about removal, disposal, access and repair of concealed damage. A price that leaves those items undefined can be difficult to compare with one that includes them. Ask how unexpected findings will be photographed, priced and approved before additional work proceeds. For an occupied home, establish how the crew will protect entrances and surrounding property and who will handle the final walkthrough. These questions connect Highland's multiple exterior offerings to a specific, documented project.
Questions to ask
- Which skylights, flashing and gutter components are included or retained?
- How will concealed damage be documented and priced?
- Who coordinates the exterior work and signs off on the final walkthrough?
