Lakeland, FL
The company at a glance
Company overview
Evangelisto Construction lists 2424 Commerce Point Drive in Lakeland and uses 863-409-6985 on its homepage. BBB matches the office and domain under Evangelisto Construction & Cabinets and includes that number as an additional contact. The kitchen page also uses the BBB primary number, 863-617-7700.
The company offers kitchens, bathrooms, additions and in-law suites, with Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Davenport and Polk City explicitly named. Its kitchen process describes consultation and preliminary drawings, plans and permitting, demolition and construction, then inspection and a walkthrough. The website also has planning calculators, which it distinguishes from a final written quote based on the property.
Turn the initial design into a defined construction agreement
Ask what the preliminary drawings include and which additional design or engineering documents may be needed. Review the layout with appliance sizes, storage priorities and circulation in mind. The proposal should distinguish selected products, allowances and optional changes, with responsibility assigned for cabinetry, counters, plumbing, electrical and finish work.
Clarify the expected period without a working kitchen and how the rest of the house will be protected. Ask how hidden conditions and homeowner changes are handled, even when the initial price is described as fixed. Obtain the actual warranty terms and the process for recording unfinished items at handover. Treat online cost ranges and advertised schedules as planning information until the written agreement defines the scope and timing for the specific home.
Questions to ask

- How are room access, protection and specialty trades coordinated?
- What happens when hidden conditions or requested changes affect the job?
