D.R. Construction

The company at a glance

Company overview

D.R. Construction publishes 915-283-9064 and identifies El Paso as its market. The official contact details reference Daniel Rubio, who also appears in the matching BBB business record. BBB links the official domain and lists the same phone. This profile uses the confirmed city rather than carrying over a street address from another directory.

The company’s residential offering includes kitchens, bathrooms, additions, flooring, carpentry and painting. Its process page describes consultation, design, material selection, construction and a completion stage with quality checks. The bathroom page provides a specific residential remodeling example. Published process descriptions are useful starting points for a meeting, but the signed project documents must establish the actual responsibilities and sequence.

Settle design and selection decisions before construction

Bring a list of the problems the renovation should solve, along with the rooms and finishes that may be affected. Ask which design documents will be prepared and whether their cost is included in the construction price. Clarify how allowances work when products have not been selected and what happens if a chosen item is unavailable.

For a bathroom or kitchen, request a schedule explaining access restrictions and temporary arrangements while the room is out of use. Establish who obtains permits and coordinates plumbing, electrical or other specialty work. Changes should have a written scope, price and schedule effect before approval. At handover, ask for a walkthrough list that assigns responsibility and timing for remaining items, together with the relevant product and workmanship documents.

Questions to ask

• Which drawings, design fees and material allowances are included?
• Who coordinates permits, specialty trades and room access?
• How are changes and final walkthrough items documented?
