Morris Black Designs

The company at a glance

Company overview

Morris Black Designs lists its showroom at 984 Marcon Boulevard in Allentown, with 610-264-2700 as the contact number. BBB identifies Morris Black Designs as an alternate name of Morris Black & Sons and matches the address, phone and design website. The parent business also supplies commercial casework, while this profile concerns residential kitchens and baths.

The official process page moves from discovery and concept development to measurements, cabinetry choices, finishes and technical specifications. The company says it coordinates manufacturing, delivery and installation before a final walkthrough. Its product offering includes custom cabinetry and other cabinet lines. Homeowners should clarify the broader renovation responsibilities alongside this design and cabinetry scope.

Identify who manages work beyond the cabinets

At the first meeting, explain whether the project involves a cabinet replacement or a larger room renovation. Ask who contracts for demolition, plumbing, electrical work, countertops, flooring and any structural changes. Establish whether Morris Black coordinates each item or works with a builder or other project partner responsible for it.

Review the drawings, cabinet specifications and selected finishes before ordering. Ask when measurements are finalized, who confirms appliance dimensions and what changes remain possible after manufacturing begins. Request the delivery and installation sequence, including protection of materials stored at the property. At completion, use a written list for adjustments and unfinished items, with responsibility and timing assigned rather than relying on a general promise of a final walkthrough.

Questions to ask

• Who contracts for work beyond design, cabinetry and installation?
• When are measurements, appliance dimensions and selections finalized?
• How are delivery issues and final adjustments documented?
