Home Review Board

Advertising & sponsorship.

How Home Review Board identifies sponsored coverage and paid placements, and keeps commercial relationships distinct from editorial endorsement.

Readers should be able to tell when a commercial relationship is relevant to what they are viewing. Home Review Board is a private publication, and commercial arrangements must be identified clearly.

Visible labels

A paid company profile carries a “Sponsored company profile” label. Sponsored articles identify the relationship near the article. Advertisements and purchased placements must be identifiable where they appear, including when promoted elsewhere on the site.

A standard company profile does not by itself indicate payment. A prominent position is not evidence that a company is ranked above others.

Commercial relationships and editorial judgment

Payment does not establish the quality of a company, support an otherwise unsupported claim, or confer editorial endorsement or recognition. The same requirements for accurate claims and attribution apply to sponsored coverage.

Submitting company information does not require payment and does not guarantee publication. Any commercial proposal requires separately agreed scope and terms. We do not promise search rankings, AI recommendations, audience size, inquiries, or sales.

Questions and corrections

If a label is unclear or a commercial relationship needs explanation, contact the publication. A factual correction does not require buying a service.
